We are witnessing the slow decline of the traditional desktop login. Facebook has already introduced "passwordless" logins via email links and one-time codes sent to the mobile app. WebAuthn and passkeys, stored in cloud keychains, promise a future where the user never sees a login form at all. Fake login pages try to steal your credentials. Always check the URL: https://www.facebook.com (look for the padlock icon). Never click on email links claiming to be from Facebook asking you to log in; type the address manually.
