For a brand selling 10,000 SKUs, consistency is king. Photolus enforces "shooting templates." A product shot of a white sneaker must always have a pure white background (RGB 255,255,255), be 2000x2000px, and have a drop shadow at 120 degrees. The software rejects any image that doesn't meet these specs before it reaches the retouching stage.
