Tomey Data Transfer Software (720p – 1080p)

In clinical settings, associating a measurement with the correct patient file is paramount. The DATA Transfer software works in conjunction with Tomey devices to respect and utilize the patient ID entered before an examination. The device manuals strongly recommend entering a patient ID before performing a measurement. When this is done, the software receives this ID along with the measurement data, allowing for the automatic and accurate filing of results. However, the software can still receive data if no ID is entered, though the manufacturer warns that in such cases, it may be difficult to locate the specific patient associated with that data in the output file.

Tomey Data Transfer Software has a wide range of applications across various industries, including:

: It typically exports data in CSV or XML formats, which are widely compatible with third-party software like CrystalPM or Filopto . Tomey Data Transfer Software

: Data is often transferred via an RS-232C cable or a LAN adapter, depending on the specific Tomey model and setup.

: The software automates the transfer of patient demographics, measurements, and exam data from Tomey devices to designated network folders or database systems, reducing transcription errors. Centralized Integration In clinical settings, associating a measurement with the

This is the modern interface used to connect devices to a local network.

This client-side application is installed on a designated computer, such as a practice management workstation or a server within a clinic's local area network (LAN). Once the software is configured and running, it acts as a receiver for data exported directly from the Tomey device. This includes a wide range of examination results, such as biometry measurements for intraocular lens (IOL) calculations, corneal topography maps, pachymetry readings, and even captured images of the ocular anterior segment. When this is done, the software receives this
